A very nice CD of tracks culled from a performance recorded at "The Plant" recording studios in Sausalito, California in late Oct. 1974.

Recorded just two months prior to Lindsay Buckingham and Stevie Nicks joining, and the departure of the great Bob Welch.

This is a live in-the-studio performance much like a rehearsal, but without an audience.

There is also some nice between song banter and chat by the band.

A more extensive track list, probably the full performance, was first available about 1977 on the old vinyl 2-record set On SODD (Singers Original Double Disc) called: "Will The Real Fleetwood Mac Please Stand Up".

This particular CD on Flashback CD's has tracks culled from that performance, but is missing some.

My research shows that the tracks: Believe Me, Black Magic Woman, Oh Well and a band introduction-Rattlesnake Shake were also recorded, but are not present on this CD.

This performance has Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Christine McVie and Bob Welch playing, along with Bob Hunt on organ.

As noted, Lindsay Buckingham and Stevie Nicks wouldn't join the line-up for another two months, on 01st Jan.-'75.

A great performance, playing tracks from their recent Bare Trees, Mystery To Me, and Heroes Are Hard To Find albums along with the great Peter Green track: Green Manalishi.

The track: Sentimental Lady, segues into a long jam of Future Games....very nice indeed.

Performance is stellar, rehearsed and the band is very tight.

Audio fidelity is superb, right from the mixing board almost like an "Unplugged" performance but without the audience.

Bob Welch is just outstanding, a superb musician and composer truely shining on this recording.

The early influences of the great Peter Green are clearly evident on this recording, although he is not present.

CD is factory pressed, dated: 1990 Luxemburg.

No photographs of the band, but graphics are very nice.

A nice, warm recording of a great Fleetwood Mac performance.

Highly Recommended.....
