OUCH!
Talk about stepping in dog crap.
The Kinks were intense on stage and I'm sure they could put on a great show but the night this performance was captured must have been a night the drinks were spiked with Elmer's glue. The sound quality reaks. The guitarwork is lo-fi and gooseneckish. I'm sure the soundboard man must have been suffering with a case of the first-historical case of male menopause cuz he sure wasn't looking at the meters. I bet they boosted the audience mania screams as well.

Casle Communications, why did you give us the stereo and mono versions? Couldn't you have found an alternate show to put on the disc?!!?!?

This ain't no LIVE AT LEEDS nor BEATLES AT SHEA STADIUM!

This album may be one of the only real live album from the 60s so it deserve respect as it's pretty good indeed. It shows what kinda crowd the Kinks had to play and it's sometimes frightening. It's the best live album from the 60s like Live At Leeds is the best live album from the 70s.

Beatles At Shea Stadium !!?! What are you talking about? It's the same!!! (Maybe even worse)

Still, the stereo version is useless as the mix is really strange so maybe another show (if there was another show...) would have been a good addition but I do think this album is REAL (and that's what I like about live albums!)
