I disagree with the jerk. The album is really great to listened to. The mono remaster is horrible though.

Well, all, if you check the grammer on that 1st review, you will find that, not only is he a bad typist, he is also functionally illiterate, and also doesn't know how to spell check his vulgarities!
This happens to be one of my favorite Beatles official releases! Any Time at All, When I get Home, You Can't Do That, These are tunes reminiscent of an era when John & Paul still worked together, & playfully rebounded off each other's creative genius! Tit for Tat, bang for bounce, this is one of their finest examples of a true writing partnership.

Great record. Too bad Nathan up there was on a sleeping pill or something ! The CD mono mixes for the first four records are horrible: they first made a stereo mix which Sir George Martin didn't like, but instead of making a new mono mix or just get the original, he badly put the new stereo mix in mono, losing at the same time a lot of the bass and drums sounds. Pity ! Find an original vinyl copy of it and you'll see what I mean ! If you listen to the cd with hearphones, you'll realize that there is a lot of mishaps when the sound goes very quickly in stereo and mono right after...

nathan is a rookie. hard day's night was the very first real rock sound in the music history. wash your ears, and enjoy the album.

A Hard Day's Night was the first one I heard when I was a young lad, and the album that turned me into a Beatle nut. Still my favourite Album in the world.

One of the best Fab Four albums, my absolute favourite one amongst the first 5 albums (before 'Rubber Soul'). All the songs are prime quality except for 'When I Get Home'. I would just recommend the stereo mix instead of the mono one.

Best album, worst release (I mean this official CD) I own two stereo LPs, so I don't need to pay 25.10 Euro for bad sounding mono/pseudo CD
