A fascinating collection of 60s and 70s TV appearances, this was put together by Pinkrobert, a well known music enthusiast and collector. Picture and sound range from perfect to VG+. All very watchable and listenable though.

This is one of the coolest things I have ever seen. A collection of "long lost" TV appearances by a multitude of artists. Some of the tracks are undoubtedly completely live (the "Rock & Roll Circus" tracks, "King Kong" by the Mothers of Invention, "Down By The River" by CSNY and the awesome "For What It's Worth>Mr.Soul" medley by Buffalo Springfield, "We're Going Wrong" by Cream and "Voodoo Chile" by the Jimi Hendrix Experience), but, as was typical of the time, most appear to be the bands miming to the official studio versions (although some might have live vocals, it's sometimes hard to tell).

Anyway, a fairly eclectic mix, the first half is largely mid-late 60s American sunshine pop with things getting heavier in the second half. A lot of the TV appearances are hilarious in terms of the sets and mindbending "special effects" used, but, to be fair, this was 40 or so years ago in a very different era. I think of this DVD more as a time capsule than a bootleg and it should be of great interest to anyone who likes the music of period. Highly recommended.
