fantastic discs. i watched the series when it was repeated in the mid 90's, at the wee age of 8 or 9, and it was a great education! the ultimate highlight for me at the time was seeing syd's floyd on look of the week (hans keller is hillarious), until then i'd only heard dsotm and wywh!

the quality of these shows are excellent, with professional menus and the artwork by mark is great! seriously recommended!

Glorious. I can't say much more than that but I shall...
What a pure joy to see these incredible clips in crisp and clear black 'n white (there are some colour ones too!),
showing once again what a great and intense garage rocker Tom Jones was! Seeing The Moody Blues go from gritty blues band to lite-psych looking like they just got out of bed and forgot to comb their hair! Seeing the Experience on the LULU SHOW and jump from Hey Joe to Sunshine of your Love.
Laughing up a storm at the Bonzo Dog Do Dah Band and doing bizarre lipsyncing w/ GIANT creature mask. The Mothers of Invention doing a rare never-recorded "doo-wop" creation
and even without Frank ripping it up with one of his patented guitar solos. Freddie and the Dreamers sound great but that dancing always unnerved me. Joan Biaz was
super H-O-T but that quivering voice was a big drag.
The Move will forever be the greatest band on earth. The Richie Havens performance is haunting and strong. Great innovation of lighting on Richie's sitting performance.
The Springfields put The Tokens to shame with their version of The Lion Sleeps Tonight (sung in the original African language). The Equals were brilliant. etc. etc. etc.
I will watch this again and again... praying for more bootlegged video releases from these guys!

Don't ask me for a trade. I don't have the DVD burning technology however I found my copy in the wonderful world of Ebay.

Watching this program when it was originally broadcast gave me my my first exposure to other artists (other than the Beatles) from the 60s. A great set of programs and great quality too. Interspersed with various continuity announcements from the time, from various programs like 'Top Of The Pops', 'Blue Peter', 'Whole Scene Going On', 'Pops and Lenny' among others. Great to have on DVD (the BBC haven't released them commercially). Nicely presented too with decent menus, you can pick any program or any song. I downloaded these via Bit Torrent a while back but there was no artwork so I've made my own to complete the package.

Highlights on these 2 discs, for me, include film of The Moody Blues performing 'Go Now', The Rolling Stones 'Get Off My Cloud' and Manfred Mann performing 'The Mighty Quinn'.

Don't be put off because there's 2 and a half hours on each DVD. There is NO visible loss in quality (with 2 hours being the usual amount on one DVD). You can't even tell you're watching a DVD.

Also, so it doesn't look like I'm taking credit where it's NOT due. I didn't do the transfer to DVD. I downloaded it via Bit Torrent. All I did was put together the artwork and added the 2 discs here to the Bootlegzone database.
