Comments
Recorded in Tokyo in 1982 (no more details than that...).

Was released on vinyl in the early-1980's (I got it around 1982). This is a direct transfer from vinyl to CD (unfortunately with a jump near the beginning of Israel).

Update (14/5/06) - just come across a report that this isn't from Tokyo 1982, but is in fact, from Warwick University, Coventry, UK on 9th March 1981. This was a TV broadcast. Have also found out that the title Strawberry Girl has been used for more than one bootleg (including an early-years compilation) - which may explain some contra in the comments. (steve23yh)

Have to say I'm not a fan of miserable one and the creator of Goth. However, I did buy this one for my girlfriend back in the day. Though it's been many a year I don't remember her thinking it was any great shakes. Sound wise it certainly wasn't sonic.6/10 or 7/10 at best.

Interesting...

It certainly wasn't from their prime era (transition between punk and psychedelic goth) but the performances of the singles are good enough.

The sound quality on my copy, however, is FM stereo - I can't fault it on that!
