This one's an absolute treasure!

Recorded at the Greyhound Pub in Croydon on 7th May 1978 (the boot Pure Energy was recorded in the same venue three months earlier). Apparently it's an audience recording, but it's so clean and fresh it's more like a soundboard.

Fantastic sound, early Banshees, dream come true?

Just listened to this one in the car again, and it's spectacularly good.

The sound is really clear and the performances excellent - particularly noticeable is Kenny Morris's thumping tom-toms driving the sound along.

Inventive, fresh and new - this captures the Banshees just as you want to hear them.
